About Jane

Jane studied Fashion and Textile Design at Plymouth College of Art and then worked as a designer/pattern cutter for several years.

Her interest in photography led her to undertake various courses in Photomontage, Photojournalism and Documentary Photography.

As a Freelance Photographer she specialised in News, Features and Portraiture and her work was published in numerous magazines and newspapers.

She began experimenting with hand-colouring of black and white photographs and this led on to her creating subjects specifically for this purpose.

In 1996 she started exhibiting.

Her work has been shown in galleries throughout the UK.
